4. School Safety Data — Our Standard
SafeSchoolMAP℠ is being built on a private-by-default standard, consistent with the policies of Protecting Our Students, Inc. and the SITE|SAFETYNET℠ platform:
- School assessment data belongs to the school that creates it. No school's assessed safety data — including the existence or value of any score — will be published, ranked, compared, or shared without that school's prior written authorization.
- Public by choice. Schools elect whether to publish a verified score, and may revoke that election at any time.
- Aggregated insights may be produced only in de-identified form, with no individual school identifiable.
Assessment data collected through the SITE|SAFETYNET℠ platform is governed by the SITE|SAFETYNET℠ Privacy Policy.
